After "quick" legislative action, school makeup day bill goes to governor

The bill allowing Missouri school districts to waive days missed during the January ice storm is finally headed to the governor.
As you may recall from earlier Turner Report posts, Rep. B. J. Marsh's bill was passed by the House March 5 and then six weeks later by the Senate, but had incorrect wording in it, so it had to go back through a joint committee.

This is not the Marsh bill, this is a Senate bill, SB-376. The Marsh bill was not fixable.

You are correct. I discovered that earlier today, but I have a hard and fast rule that I do not do any blogging during school hours so I have not had the opportunity to fix it. When I write my update, I will make sure to get it right.

So, when are you going to write your update and get it right?

I posted it last night in the article on Jane Cunningham's vote on the bill.
