Discrimination against gun owners- another fictitious election year problem

The Missouri House of Representativss has given approval to a bill that would keep employers from discriminating against gun owners. Is this really a problem? The legislation sounds more like one of those efforts made by offiecholders to appeal to the base during election year by creating issues that do not exist. Instead of spending time on unnecessary legislation, a novel idea for our legislators would be to put the gun owners and everyone else in Missouri back to work. That, it appears, can only be done by cutting taxes to the point where there are no services whatsoever, crippling unions, and creating an atmosphere where so-called job creators can benefit mightily from government intervention without ever bothering to create any jobs. Nice work if you can get it.
