Papers posted on name change of Nodler Leadership PAC

An amended statement of committee organization was posted on the Missouri Ethics Commission website today indicating the name change of the Nodler Leadership PAC to the Southwest Missouri Leadership PAC. The name change was noted in a post on the March 22 Turner Report.
In a letter to the Ethics Commission, PAC treasurer Nick Myers, a Joplin CPA writes, "Enclosed is an amendment to the Statement of Committee Organization changing the name of the continuing committee from the Nodler Leadership PAC to Southwest Missouri Leadership PAC."

I'd guess he's paving the way to funnel money to his right hand man, Tom Flanigan, who is running for the House seat currently occupied by Hunter.

They just didn't want Nodler's name on it because that would just infuriate handicapped individuals everywhere.

Handicapped individuals like Nodler, a majority of handicapped voters chose him in the last election. You don't get it. Handicapped people are human beings just like everyone else and tend to reflect the values and hopes and dreams of other everyday people, the kind that overwhelmingly voted to keep Nodler as our Senator. Those are the facts. Now just watch; the whacky anti-Nodler fringe will start spewing out their shrill, nasty false attacks. They can begin by attacking me, then attack the Senator, then do the name calling and hate speech aimed at anyone that disagrees with them, that would of course be the vast majority. They can comfort themselves by saying that Nodler and the Republicans may have support from 60 to 70% of the people, as the votes prove, but the handful that comment on blogs are overwhelmingly anti-Nodler and anti-Republican that’s why they spend so much time here to trying to feel like others agree with them, well a tiny fraction do, they are the ones blogging in hate speech against our Republican elected officials.
