During a broadcast of the nationally syndicated Jim Bohannon Show Thursday night, FEMA representative Jim Donnelly praised the work done by Joplin city officials in the aftermath of the May 22 Joplin Tornado.
"Joplin was very well prepared," Donnelly said. "Many lives were saved because of the alarm activation.
"Joplin does a good job with emergency management. Their plan was good."
