Limbaugh, Hannity situation will not affect KZRG

Politico reported last night that Cumulus radio stations may drop the talk shows of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, due to their rising costs.

That will not have any effect on the two shows' presence in the Joplin market, according to Chad Elliott, KZRG operations manager.

"No, it shouldn't have any impact on our station," Eliott told the Turner Report. "If there is any truth to the Politico story, it would only apply to Cumulus owned stations. We have shows frmo both Cumulus and Premiere."

The Limbaugh and Hannity shows are syndicated by Premiere, which is owned by Clear Chnnnel.
