Heavy rain possible for Joplin area tomorrow

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
DISCUSSION...
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL SHIFT EAST INTO SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
WESTERN MISSOURI AFTER 10 PM TONIGHT AS A STORM SYSTEM
APPROACHES THE REGION.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL OVERSPREAD THE OUTLOOK
AREA FRIDAY AS A FRONT AND UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE TRACK ACROSS
THE REGION. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...BUT AREAS OF HEAVY
RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MISSOURI WHERE THERE WILL BE A LIMITED
POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING.
ANOTHER CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR MONDAY AND TUESDAY
OF NEXT WEEK.
