Video- Debate emerges over Joplin City Council investigation bill
Ok, let me point some things Mr. Loraine is an attorney not a private investigator. So why is everyone surprised by the large amount for his services. I know a licensed private investigator and he charges between $150 and $200 a day plus expenses. Who recommended Mr. Loraine for the job. I think a detective with investigative skills would be better then a lawyer. Apparently so do some members of the council. Maybe Mr. Loraine was chosen by the Good Ol Boys.

These types of investigations are often done by attorneys. One has to know and understand the relevant laws to ask the right questions.
