Carthage City Council schedules emergency special meeting to consider stay-at-home order

A stay-at-home ordinance will be considered when Carthage City Council meets in an emergency special session 4 p.m. today.

Because of COVID-19 considerations, the meeting will be held through a video conference.








According to the agenda, the meeting will also include a motion to amend Resolution 1897, Mayor Dan Rife's executive order issued Tuesday that required social distancing at city parks. The agenda
 does not indicate what the amendment is.
