Only one COVID-19 death reported during last 24 hours in Missouri, 173 new cases

For at least one day, the pace of COVID-19 deaths in Missouri slowed down considerably as only one person died and no one died in St. Louis County.

The death occurred in St. Charles County, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Missouri has had 274 coronavirus deaths, with 127 occurring in St. Louis County, 50 in St. Louis, 27, in St. Charles County, 15 in Kansas City, nine in Jackson County and seven in Greene County.







No new cases were reported in this area with Jasper County's total standing at 16, Newton County 10, Joplin seven, McDonald County four and Barton County none.

Missouri reports 6,997 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 173 over the 24-hour period.
