Missouri COVID-19 death toll up to 208 as 19 deaths recorded over past 24 hours

Missouri has had 208 COVID-19 deaths, with 19 of them recorded in the past 24 hours, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Ten of the deaths were in St. Charles County, according to the report, with six recorded in St. Louis County.







St. Louis County has had 97 deaths so far, followed by St. Charles County at 25, St. Louis 21, Kansas City 13, Jackson County 8 and Greene County 7.

An additional 196 cases were confirmed over the 24-hour period, bringing the total to 6,137.

Cases were added to the Joplin and Jasper County totals.

Jasper County has had 16 cases confirmed, Newton County 10, Joplin 8, McDonald County 4 and Barton County none.
