Eleven Missourians die from COVID-19 in 24-hour period, including nine in St. Louis County

Eleven Missourians died in a 24-hour period from COVID-19, with nine of those deaths occurring in St. Louis County, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

The death toll currently stands at 176, with 81 in St. Louis County, 21 in St. Louis, 13 in St. Charles County and Kansas City, eight in Jackson County and seven in Greene County.







A total of 5,667 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed, an increase of 384 over the 24-hour period.

No new cases were listed in this area, with Jasper County still showing 15 cases, Newton County nine, the City of Joplin seven, McDonald County four and still no cases in Barton County.
