Sarah (Novotny) Hinderliter signs off after seven years at KZRG

Sarah (Novotny) Hinderliter signed off Friday after seven years at KZRG.

In the days when I used to pop by there every once in a while to promote a book or a signing, she always made me feel at home.

She added a humanizing touch to KZRG's Morning Newswatch that will be sorely missed.

She posted the following message this afternoon on her Facebook page:

I just wanted to let you all know you that Friday was my last day at KZRG.

I am so grateful for the experience I gained in beginning my radio career. I’ve made so many friends over the past 7 years, met some of the coolest people that I really look up to, and have learned a lot from.

I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to interview so many amazing people from US Senators, governors, Presidential candidates, Congressmen, as well as those that lead our local communities.

It was an honor and a privilege to be able to bring the news to you for seven years, as well as freely share my opinions on just about everything on the morning show, while also feeling like I was making a difference, and having a ton of fun.

Working in news was always a dream and a passion of mine since I was a small child.

I’ve grown tremendously over the years, met the love of my life, and created a family. The decision to leave had been weighing on my heart for quite some time, and I finally felt this was the right time. Our daughter will only be little once, and I was starting to feel that I was missing out on so much that I stopped looking forward to going to work.

Thank you all for the great memories
