A Noel man who said in chat messages that he wanted to rape his 8-year-old neighbor and who told investigating officers he fantasized about sexually abusing local children pleaded guilty to child pornography charges this morning during a hearing in U. S. District Court in Springfield.
Judge David P. Rush ordered a pre-sentence hearing for Quinton Tyler McNeely, 27. No date has been scheduled for sentencing.
McNeely was accused of receiving and distributing child pornography. A detention order noted McNeely's chat messages and that in addition to wanting to rape his neighbor, he discussed "using candy to befriend and rape another child."
