Leggett & Platt closing North Carolina facility, cuts 158 jobs


Carthage-based Leggett & Platt will begin the process of closing its High Point, North Carolina plant July 25, according to a WARN notice received by the state of North Carolina.

The closure will eliminate 158 jobs is part of the company's effort to consolidate operations, according to the notice.

So hopefully, with the current resignation of Mitch Dolloff, as President and CEO and a member of the Board, Leggett & Platt will start making progress into the future.

Though Mitch Dolloff, did such a Bad Job, running the Company the shares of stocks plummeted from $57 a Share to $11.65 so after his resignation Leggett & Platt, hired him on as a Consultant for 1-Year at $1.2 Million Dollars, plus benefits - more Smart Moves by Leggett & Platt and the Board and Managment Team.
