The Newton County Prosecuting Attorney's office charged a Neosho man with distribution of a controlled substance today.
From the probable cause statement:
On O4/01/2025, a search warrant was conducted at Dominic Ryan's residence in Neosho, Missouri. Ryan was located by Newton County SWAT operators in his bed in the northeast bedroom. Detectives located a pair of jeans near Ryan and a wallet was found in one of the pockets.
The wallet contained Ryan's identification and $1,888 cash. A bag was in another pocket of the jeans that contained a large quantity of empty baggies and two separate bags of meth with a combined weight of approximately 15 grams.
The bags of meth field tested positive. Red digital scales were found in the living room of the residence along with a large quantity of meth and marijuana paraphernalia.
Ryan's bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.
