Value of Missouri tort reform questioned

The value of the Republican-dominated Missouri General Assembly's so-called tort reform laws is questioned in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch column written by Michael Sorkin.
The column explores a poll which ranked Missouri 35th, up from 46th, for its legal climate for businesses. The poll was sponsored by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, the article indicates, and those who were polled were lawyers representing big business.
