Nathan Cooper, R-Cape Girardeau, is no longer a member of the Missouri House of Representatives after resigning effective 5 p.m. today.
Cooper, who pleaded guilty last week in federal court to immigration fraud charges, is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 19.
