Decisions made during the past few days by Rep. Dennis Hastert, R-Illinois, and Rep. Deborah Pryce, R-Ohio, not to seek re-election leave Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt as the only member of the leadership of the last Republican majority who plans to run in 2008.
The other member of the leadership was Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas.
