More and more customers are buying digital video services from Cox Communications, according to the company's quarterly report.
Business Wire reports that Cox, which has the cable TV franchises in Carthage, Lamar, and other southwest Missouri communities, added more than 90,000 digital video customers in the first quarter.
The company reported an increase of 11 percent in revenue during the past year. Total first quarter revenues were $1.7 billion, according to the report.
Net income for the first quarter was $27.0 million compared to $57.7 million for the first quarter of 2004.
