KSN morning program continues to improve
It is easy to see why Joplin Globe readers selected Toni Valliere as one of their Favorites of the Four States.
The KSNF morning anchor has taken over a position that had been dragging down that station's program for the past couple of years and has quickly helped turn it around. This morning, she gave another example of two things that she can do that caused great difficulty for her predecessor; she can read the news clearly and understandably; and she can engage in the required verbal byplay with co-anchor Lucas McDonald.
While Valliere deserves a great deal of credit, the real hero of the morning program has been McDonald, who has had to prop up whatever station officials put beside him month after month (not to mention the pep rallies and the other nonsense that station officials seem to believe we cannot live without).

I agree. Lucus does a super great job! The only thing that bothers me about toni is that she interrupts lucus and others while they are talking. When she corrects that problem, she will be more enjoyable to watch.
Lucas is just average in my opinion. He plays with his scripts when he is on camera too much, maybe it is a nervous habit, but it distracts the viewer. He also has problems with "small talk" with Toni. He looks very uncomfortable in my opinion. If he would watch a tape of himself, he would see these errors and could easily correct them. Toni is solid, she might be too nice though. She needs to bring out more of her personality. She does a good job reading the news.
give me lucus anytime. he is more genuine.
