Peter Kinder: Man of the people, as long as they're rich and want control over everything

You can call Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder the man of the people- if the people you are referring to are rich people who want to remake the government in their image.

Kinder, who is expected to challenge Jay Nixon for governor in 2012, raised $770,559.59, with nearly half of that total coming from two sources- TAMKO and retired billionaire Rex Sinquefield.

Kinder's quarterly report, filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission showed he received $250,000 from the Humphreys family of Joplin-based TAMKO, with David Humphreys, his mother Ethelmae, and sister Sarah Jane Atkins contributing $250,000 and Sinquefield giving $115,000.

Among Kinder's other contributors were educational voucher supporter Charles Norval Sharpe, CNS Corportion, with $25,000, and Texas businessman and Swift Boat contributor Harold Simmons with $25,000.

Why worry about the Lt. Gov.and his friends and their combined court efforts to protect MO from Obama Care? The people of Missouri rejected Obama care in Aug 2010 by a vote of 7 to 3. Lt. Gov. Kinder heard us and is taking action.
Gov. Nixon is taking care of the Government Employee Union Bosses; failing to clean up E coli lakes; awarding our tax money to felons, spending in excess of $430,000 of tax dollars on travel (which he commands be hidden in agencies, other than the Gov. Office); presiding over a MO unemployment rate that continues to exceed the too high national average; promoting Obama Care and being formally named an adviser to his good friend and fellow Democrat executive Pres. Obama.
What, me worry?

Is this the same Peter Bender who likes to stay at downtown St. Louis hotels at taxpayer expense?
