Sen. Claire McCaskill wants to know what her constituents think about Speaker of the House Steve Tilley's decision to honor Rush Limbaugh with a bust in the Hall of Famous Missourians. The following e-mail message was sent Friday.
Rush Limbaugh infuriated a lot of people when he went on a sexist tirade last week -- and later issued a deeply insincere apology.
It was incredibly offensive, especially at a time when the Republicans Limbaugh leads are stepping up their war on women's health and women's economic equality. And using that type of language does real damage to our national discourse, too.
So what do Missouri Republicans want to do? Honor Limbaugh by putting up a statue of him in the state capitol.
I can't believe it, but maybe that's just me. I want to know what you think.
I'm really interested in your opinion on this. Should Rush get a spot next to Gen. Omar Bradley, Walt Disney, Stan Musial, Mark Twain, and Harry Truman?

No, no and again no. Excepting Mark Twain, not a single person honored in the hall was controversial during their lifetime. It should be noted that neither Jesse or Frank James are in the hall and neither should Limbaugh be.
Everybody has the right to there own opinion. And sometimes we have to listen to it. But in the end we also have the right to disagree. You can disagree by your VOTE. Support the one who will do the right thing.Put a stop to all this kind of action from people who have their own agenda, and use the media to get results.
