Lisa Olliges, a fixture on four-state television since 1988, has said her goodbyes to KOAM and is the new media relations coordinator for Freeman Health.
Olliges, a St. Louis native, has been a weekend anchor and education reporter for KOAM, but has handled many major stories during her three decades at the station.
(Photo: Olliges is shown with Andrea Sioteco sports, and Nick Kelly, weather, following her final 10 p.m. Sunday broadcast.)
The accompanying KOAM video, fittingly introduced by the area's longest-serving anchor Dowe Quick (I believe he has been there since 1980), offers a reminder of just how much of a contribution Olliges has made to Joplin area journalism during the past three decades.
