Two more patients from Springfield residential care center die from COVID-19

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is heartbroken to announce two additional deaths of Greene County residents from COVID-19.

The patients were among the four cases confirmed from the Morningside of Springfield East assisted living facility.

One was a woman in her 70s, the other is a woman in her 90s.

The staff at Morningside have been actively working with the Springfield-Greene County Health Department and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. All four patients who had tested positive have been hospitalized.
