The Lawrence County Health Department is announcing six additional laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19
The six individuals who tested positive are residents of the same long term care facility as the first Lawrence County case.
All residents of the facility have been tested and three of those results are still pending.
In addition, all staff at the facility is undergoing testing and results are pending.
The Lawrence County Health Department has been working closely with the facility administrator and will be monitoring the positive cases and their close contacts.
