The hearing, which is required by state law, will be held at the beginning of the R-8 Board of Education meeting.
A vote to adopt the calendar will be held later in the meeting.
The proposed calendar calls for school to begin Thursday, August 13 and conclude with a half-day Thursday, May 13.
