Missouri COVID-19 death toll at 605, 11 more deaths recorded

Eleven people died in Missouri during a 24-hour period due to COVID-19, according to statistics released Monday afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

The deaths bring the state's total to 605, with 336 of those occurring in St. Louis County, which also leads the state with 4,182 confirmed coronavirus cases.







St. Louis has had 100 deaths, St. Charles County 53, Kansas City 20, Jackson County 15, Franklin County 14 and Jefferson County 13, according to the state statistics.

Only one death, in Newton County, has occurred in this area.

Jasper County has had 19 confirmed COVID-19 cases, Newton County 16, McDonald County 13, Joplin 10 and Barton County none.
