Victoria's Secret to close 250 stores, Bath and Body Works to close 51

Information released as part of the quarterly earning statement indicates L Brands, will close 250 of its Victoria's Secret stores and 51 Bath and Body Works store during the remainder of 2020.

How or if this will affect the Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works stores at Joplin's Northpark Mall is uncertain since the company has not revealed which stores will close.





The announcements came on the heels of a bleak first quarter earning statement that showed Victoria's Secret sales declining by 37 percent, largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bath and Body works sales were down 18 percent.
