Missouri COVID-19 cases pass 11,000 mark, 11 more deaths recorded

The number of Missourians contracting COVID-19 passed the 11,000 mark Monday with 135 cases bringing the total to 11,080, according to statistics released by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

Eleven deaths were recorded during the 24-hour reporting period, including nine in St. Louis County. The death total stands at 616.







St. Louis County has 345 deaths, followed by St. Louis with 100, St. Charles County 53, Kansas City 21, Jackson County 15, Franklin County 14 and Jefferson County 13.

Only one coronavirus case was reported in this area, increasing McDonald County's total to 14, including seven in the past two days.

Jasper County has had 19, Newton County 16, Joplin 10 and Barton County none.
