Twenty more COVID-19 deaths recorded in Missouri

The death toll from COVID-19 in Missouri stands at 562 after 20 more deaths were recorded in a 24-hour period, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Twelve of the 20 deaths were in St. Louis County, which now has 305 deaths, followed by St. Louis with 94, St. Charles County 52, Kansas City 17, Jackson County 15, Franklin County 14 and Jefferson County 13.

McDonald County reported the only new confirmed case Wednesday afternoon in this area. Jasper County has had 19 cases, Newton County 12, Joplin 10, McDonald County 6 and Barton County none.
