Fourteen new COVID-19 cases confirmed in McDonald County, 40 so far

Fourteen COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in McDonald County over the past three days, including 13 announced on Friday, according to news releases from the McDonald County Health Department.

The county has had 40 coronavirus cases.

The department issued three updates over that period.







The first came on Friday:

The McDonald County Health Department announces 12 new cases bringing our total to 38. All cases are located in SW McDonald County. All cases are in quarantine and contacts are being notified. 1 case is hospitalized, 5 cases with symptoms, and 6 cases without symptoms.


The second news release also came Friday and the third on Saturday, with both of those cases also occurring in the southwest portion of the county.
