Missouri records 434 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, largest total to date, 10 more deaths

Statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services show 434 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Missouri over the past 24 hours, the biggest one-day total to date.

With those cases, the state has recorded 18,577 cases.

Ten more deaths were reported, increasing the toll to 966.








St. Louis County, which reported three deaths during the 24-hour period, leads the state with 551, followed by the city of St. Louis with 148, St. Charles County 69, Kansas City 31, Jackson County 22, Jefferson County 19, Franklin County 18 and Scott County 11.
