Ten COVID-19 deaths were reported and an additional 189 newly confirmed cases during the previous 24 hours, according to statistics released Saturday afternoon by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
Missouri now has recorded 809 deaths and 14.442 coronavirus cases.
St. Louis County has had the most COVID-19 deaths, 457, including five during the reporting period, followed by the City of St. Louis with 128, St. Charles County 59, Kansas City 27, Jackson County 22, and Franklin and Jefferson counties with 17 apiece.
In this area, the state statistics showed Jasper County with 32 cases, Newton County 26, McDonald County 25, Joplin 18 and Barton County none.
