With Roy Blunt's announcement that he will not seek a third term in the U. S. Senate, the scrambling has begun among Missouri Republicans to replace him and one of those considering making a run is Seventh District Congressman Billy Long.
"I'm seriously considering it," Long told KY3.
"I would not get in if I did not think I could win.
Long is not the only House member considering running. Second District Congresswoman Ann Wagner had indicated she is interested. Another one rumored to be thinking about it is Eighth District Congressman Jason Smith.

Well, there goes the state and country with these "know-nothings" running for that office that has been nothing but kissing the pig for the last 10 years. How in the world did Missouri get into this mess of passing money on to big interests that other Americans pass to the country. Just look at the "conservative republican party" and the amount of money given to the likes of Joplin and the lost cause of the airport for one. Worse case of buying the vote.
No doubt about it, Billy has put in his work sniffing Trump's you know what so some people are probably saying Billy is entitled to something for all that.
