The Jasper County Health Department reported two deaths due to COVID-19 bringing the county's total to 151.
The victims were a woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s.
Jasper County has recorded 9,079 coronavirus cases and has had 38 confirmed in the past week.
Twelve county residents are hospitalized.
The statistics do not include the portion of Jasper County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
