(From Carl Junction Schools)Carl Junction’s Teacher of the Year is also one of Southwest Missouri’s top educators.
Rachel Hensley was named as one of two Regional Teachers of the Year. She will go on to apply for the Missouri Teacher of the Year honor.
Hensley teaches 6th-8th-grade students in the Carl Junction Gifted Education program and serves as a coach for the academic bowl team and coordinator for the Destination Imagination team, a creative-thinking competition.
