Jasper County reports three COVID-19 deaths, 70 cases confirmed Monday


The Jasper County Health Department reported three deaths due to COVID-19 today.

The victims were a man in his 50s, another in his 60s and one in his 70s.

Department officials posted a breakdown of those 70 cases on their Facebook page showing that most of those who contracted the virus, 55 out of 70, were below 50 years old, with 14 age 0 to 19.

60-69 yrs: 3

90+ yrs: 1

As you can see, our median age is getting younger.
