During a hearing this morning in U. S. District Court in Springfield, a Webb City man pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and coercion or enticement of a female.
A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered for Harley Wayne Schrader, 26, who admitted to exchanging pornographic photos with an eight-year-old Joplin girl and receiving nude photos from a 16-year-old girl.
No date has been set for Schrader's sentencing.
The plea agreement, which was filed this morning, indicates the government will recommend no more than 18 years in prison for Schrader.
Schrader's crimes are detailed in the agreement:
Officer Flener seized Jane Doe's ZTE cellular phone and provided it to Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) and Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force (SMCCTF) Officer Larry Roller for forensic examination.
Roller located sexually explicit images of Jane Doe 1 that had been sent to Schrader through Facebook Messenger. Roller also located messages between the two where Schrader asked Jane Doe 1 for nude pictures of her breast.
On July 13, 2017, FBI and SMCCTF Officer Charles Root took over investigation of this case. On September 29, 2017, Root applied for and received a Jasper County Circuit Court search warrant for Schrader's residence. Root conducted a recorded interview with Schrader.
Schrader admitted to asking Jane Doe 1 for a picture of her private parts and to sending her pictures of his penis. Schrader also admitted to meeting a 16-year-old female, Jane Doe 2, through the video game "Immortal Knight." Schrader admitted she sent him nude images of herself.
Law enforcement seized Schrader's cellular phone and LG from his bedroom. On October 5, 2017, Roller reviewed the forensic examination. Multiple messages between Schrader and Jane Doe 2 were recovered where Schrader requested Jane Doe 2 to send him sexually explicit images. Roller located images of child pornography on Schrader's phone.
