Joplin Police Department mourns loss of Paula Hadsall

(From the Joplin Police Department)

Today (Friday), the Joplin Police Department said goodbye to one of our own.

On Saturday, November 13th, Paula Hadsall suffered a medical emergency and tragically passed away on November 14th. This afternoon we mourned her loss but celebrated her life during her memorial service alongside family, friends and fellow officers and co-workers.

Paula was hired by JPD over 10 years ago and most recently worked as an Administrative Assistant at the front desk of the Records Division of the police department.

If you have ever visited the front lobby desk or called the non-emergency line at JPD, you had probably spoken to her at some point. She had a kind heart and a terrific moral compass, which made her such a great fit for JPD.

Paula took great pride in working for JPD and was instrumental in helping to keep our operations up and going. Her sudden passing has left a huge void in our hearts and we will forever miss her.

We ask that you all please keep her wonderful family, friends and co-workers at the City of Joplin in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
