Felony child abduction charges against former KODE anchor Tiffany Alaniz, 46, Tulsa, Oklahoma, were dismissed during a hearing this afternoon in Jasper County Circuit Court.
The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed the charge against Alaniz in January.
Alaniz, a Tulsa native, anchored KODE's 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts during the early part of this decade, after spending the 2000s at KSN, forming a highly successful team with weatherman Gary Bandy, first on the morning show and later with a 5 p.m. newscast/talk show format.

Bet Phil glades was her lawyer. He is the best.
Charges that never should have happened. Law enforcement tried to return Tiffany's daughter to her ex-husband 4 times and he refused to meet up with officers to make the "hand-off." Whitley is in foster care because of her refusal to stay with her dad. The prosecutor needs to spend her time figuring out why that is rather than pressing charges against a mother who wants to protect her child from abuse.
Should have never been filed in the 1st place and only happened to bully her. Prayers for peace in the family.
