(From the City of Joplin)The regular meeting of Joplin City Council which had been scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 18, 2025 is cancelled in anticipation of a significant winter storm which is anticipated to create dangerous driving conditions on Tuesday evening.
Agenda items which had been scheduled for Feb. 18 will be postponed to the March 3rd council meeting which will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the 5th floor council chambers inside City Hall.
Items on the informal meeting agenda which normally begins at 5:15 p.m. (immediately preceding the regular council meeting) will also be postponed to March 3, 2025.
City offices will be open during normal business hours, but stay tuned for potential updates regarding impacts to services or programs.
