Neosho man indicted on meth trafficking, weapons charges

The indictment of a Neosho man on methamphetamine trafficking and weapons charges was unsealed today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

According to the indictment, Randy Farley, 58, possessed more than 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute December 19 in Newton County. He's also charged with having a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Farley was initially arrested following the execution of a search warrant by the Joplin Police Department. The Newton County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed charges against him December 26, which were detailed in the probable cause statement.

During the search of the RV on the property approximately 150 grams of methamphetamine in multiple baggies along with $6180 was located. The RV was the only livable structure on the property and had documents with Randy Farley’s name on them inside.

Also in the RV was a set of keys. The keys opened a locked safe which was in a shop on the property. Inside the safe were four rifles, one handgun, and documents with Randy Farley's name on them.

A blue truck was located on the property with flat tires and no license plate information. It appeared the truck was being used for storage. Inside the truck were four additional handguns and a small amount of meth.

Randy Farley is currently on probation/parole and is a convicted felon.

Farley's arraignment and detention hearing are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Springfield.

It's damn crazy that it says nothing about the fact that the search warrant was carried out while Farley was sitting in Newton county jail and had been there for 2 days it's crazy that it says his arrest was following the search since search was never carried out until he was already arrested in jail so having possession of a firearm how can that stand how is he getting arrested with intent to distribute when he was sitting in jail??!! And then it also says that there was a set of keys that opened a lock box that for some reason now has a huge hole cut out of it because they didn't have a key...
. So much for trusting wtf our officers claim... You know the ones that we as the community trust to protect and serve can't even do anything by the book.

It's amazing to me how dumb some people are

There are reasons why judges try to discourage people from being their own attorney when facing felony charges.

Many people just don't know they need to buy a truckload of clues, and life slaps them as a result.

A person can be charged with crimes while sitting in jail?

Who knew?!?!!!
