Red Lobster, Pancho's Mexican Food fail Joplin Health Department inspections

Red Lobster, 3131 S Range Line Road and Pancho's Mexican Food, 2830 E 7th Street, failed Joplin Health Department inspections this week, according to information posted on the department website. 

Red Lobster

Red Lobster's inspection Wednesday turned up one priority violation and four core violations.

The priority violation was the discovery of pests near the dishwashing area.








Core violations were recorded for the following:

-Food containers were stored uncovered in the walk-in cooler.

-Floor tile was missing on the cook line and underneath the walk-in freezer door.

-Air ducts and filters above the dryer had an accumulation of grease.

-The back exit door was open allowing entry for insects and rodents.

Pancho's Mexican Food

The inspection of Pancho's Mexican Food Monday revealed four priority violations and one core violation.

The core violation was for wiping cloths lying on the counter.

Priority violations were recorded for the following:








-Cinnamon chips available for customer self-service did not have sneeze shielding covered containers.

-Queso was being hot held below 135 degrees.

-Potentially hazardous foods in prep cooler were being cold held above 41 degrees.

-Potentially hazardous foods in the customer self-service sales cooler were being cold held above 41 degrees.

Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Missouri

Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Missouri, 316 S Comingo Avenue, which had failed two recent inspections, passed inspection Wednesday.

Panera Bread, 2101 S Range Line Road
