Cass County Presiding Commissioner Gary Mallory, D-Harrisonville, will serve as treasurer for Missourians for Koster, according to an Aug. 1 filing with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Sen. Chris Koster, of course, has been at the center of state political news recently after switching from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party. Though he has not officially announced his candidacy for attorney general, his Missourians for Koster committee lists "statewide office" as its goal and Koster has indicated he will not seek re-election to the State Senate.
