Within one month of getting his first job out of journalism school, Carthage Press Managing Editor Ron Graber, the best photographer in the area, had taken a feature photo that earned him first place in the annual Missouri Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. He has consistently added to his awards stash over the years.
His next award-winning photo is currently on display at the Press website, www.carthagepress.com . Check out his photo of a Carthage Fire Department official receiving a flag from his grandson during a ceremony at Mark Twain Elementary School...it won't be on there long.
