California Republican grabs nearly $5,000 in Sinquefield cash
The Rex Sinquefield cash carousel continued Tuesday as another politician, Rep. Kenny Jones, R-California, filed a campaign disclosure form showing $4,875 in contributions from the retired billionaire and educational voucher supporter's political action committees.
The contributions came from 15 PACS, including various chapters of Your School, Your Choice and Missourians Needing Educational Alternatives,
The contributions made up most of Jones' $6,305 and the rest of his contributors do not appear to be from his district either.
Jones also received maximum $325 contributions from lobbyist Jonathan Dalton, whose clients include the Alliance for Senior Citizens, Sikeston; Altria Corporate Services, New York; Sunrise Senior Living Management, McLean, Va.; and the Missouri Soybean Association. Citizens to elect Bill Deeken contributed $130.
