Hubbard receives $36,450 from Sinquefield committees

Rep. Rodney Hubbard, D-St. Louis, a candidate for State Senate, received $36,450 from 52 Rex Sinquefield PACS, according to the April disclosure report filed Monday with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Hubbard received $85,147 during the first three months of 2008. The Sinquefield committees were formed to enable the retired billionaire and voucher supporter to circumvent campaign contribution limits.

This is not the first time Hubbard has received big bucks from Sinquefield. During the months in 2007 when campaign contribution limits were removed, Sinquefield contributed $30,000 to Hubbard's campaign.
