A federal judge today dismissed a lawsuit against Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.
The lawsuit, which said Ms. Carnahan did not properly handle voter rolls, and failed to remove ineligible voters.
The case, which was initially filed in 2005, received national attention during the controversy over the politicization of the Department of Justice and the firing of numerous U. S. attorneys.
The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled.
