Albuquerque Police Chief: West Mesa serial killer is not still on the loose

The statement is buried at the end of this video about a woman who thinks there are even more female murder victims buried in the West Mesa section of Albuquerque, but it should be of interest to Joplin- the police chief says the man who killed 19 victims, including a fetus, is no longer at large.

At the same time, the chief says investigators are still poring through the information found during last month's raid on properties owned by Joplin businessman Ron Erwin. And we know that Erwin has not been arrested.

For those who have trouble loading the videos on this site, the story can be found on Albuquerque television station KRQE's website:

I wonder...if he turns out to be a Baptist or a Lutheran or a Catholic if we can stop the building of these churches because one of their members is a mass serial killer.

Statistically he is religious and a Christian.

You state in this article: "the police chief says the man who killed 19 victims, including a fetus, is no longer at large." This appears to be a statement of fact.

the actual quote from the article was "but the chief has said he's confident the West Mesa serial killer is not still on the loose."

I interpret this to be a statement of opinion by the chief, not a statement of fact with the qualifier being "he's confident" I would view it as a statement of fact if it actually read "but the chief has said the West Mesa serial killer is not still on the loose."
