New Carnahan ad features Fox News' Chris Wallace leveling corruption charges against Blunt

Who would have thought that Robin Carnahan's most effective ad yet would come from a Fox News program.

In the ad, which was released Thursday, a 2006 clip of Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace questioning Carnahan's opponent, Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt about shady dealings concerning the Homeland Security bill.

Wallace says, "In 2002, you tried to insert language into the Homeland Security Act to help Phillip Morris tobacco while you were dating that company's lobbyist and your campaign committee has paid $485,000 to a firm linked to lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Are you the one to clean up the House?"

Wow! No, seriously, WOW!

I've voted for Roy Blunt every time his name has been on the ballot, beginning in th 70s when he was in Greene County.

But never again. No, seriously, NEVER AGAIN!

This is the crookedist (is that a word?) man in DC no doubt.

For the life of me I do not understand why the people in the 7th District keep sending this man back to DC. I don't get it.

The "connected" Republicans I know say Blunt is feared and no one crosses him for fear of retribution.

That's just awful.

He is a thug of the highest degree. This man doesn't deserve to hold the lowest office in the land. BUT...he will be elected. Everyone hates him but the voters.

This is the 'deer in the headlights' look if I've ever seen it.

Roy got some sound advice before going to Washington. Stay away from the whores on 7th Street and K Street.

He may have avoided the clap on 7th Street but he couldn't stay away from the corporate whores on K Street.
